Last weekend DJ Irie hosted his 8th annual “Irie Weekend.” Irie just completed his 11th season as the DJ for the 2012 World Champion Miami Heat. It was one busy weekend that began with a private party on Star Island in Miami Beach, and ended with a celebrity bowling tournament at Lucky Strike Lanes also in Miami Beach. It was all for the kids. Irie’s focus this year was on education. We had an opportunity to catch up with Irie at his celebrity golf tournament at Melreese Country Club in Miami.
