NFL Players Advocating for South Florida Youth

The Stars of Tomorrow Foundation is back at it again! Max Jean-Gilles, E.J. Biggers and several other NFL players have “teamed up” with The Stars of Tomorrow Foundation to host it’s 3rd Annual Hangout Day Youth Football & Cheerleading Clinc. One of the first events we’ve covered here at, Hangout Day is a free event that involves the distribution of back packs and school supplies to kids - all at the same time -while providing an entertaining day at the park along with complimentary food, drinks, health screenings, and a football and cheerleading clinic. The following is an excerpt from a press release for the event: “Today’s youth are so very precious. A large amount of them no longer just look up to their parents, but to these entertainers that they watch on television. With me and other NFL players being role models and making it out of the hood, we want to give other children the opportunity to dream past their greatest limitations and expectations,” says Max Jean- Gilles, co-founder of Hangout Day.

What was previously a one day event has now been extended to a weekend full of activities. New to the list of events this year is a celebrity basketball game that will be held on Friday (participants to be announced at a later date). The event will be held on July 20, 2012 through Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Miami,FL.

It is awesome to see guys getting to give back in our community like this. Especially in North Miami. Our kids and the community need all the help we can get. Seeing people like Max and the rest of his crew and foundation doing all this work will definitely encourage many in our community to work together and do more.

Thanks Stars of Tomorrow! ! !
