NFL Wide Receiver Hank Baskett (currently a free agent) will be hosting his inaugural Hank Baskett Classic Golf Tournament on May 20-21, 2012. Baskett is teaming up with the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation to raise money for the continuing fight towards finding a cure for lung cancer. The Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation is recognized as one of the global leaders in lung cancer research.
The Hank Baskett Classic Golf Tournament will take place at Trump National Golf Club, Rancho Palos Verdes, California on Monday, May 21, 2012
Hank Baskett’s father is currently undergoing treatment for lung cancer, thus the fight against this cancer is personal for Baskett.
According to the tournament’s twitter account (@hbgolfclassic) the ”star-studded” list of confirmed participants includes: Alfonso Ribeiro, Antonio Pierce, Jermaine Dye, Kris Humphries, Michael Strahan, David Justice, Marcellus Wiley and plenty more.
