Back on July 23rd Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Lineman Max Jean-Gilles held his second annual “Hangout Day.” Jean-Gilles was raised in Miami. He attended North Miami Beach Senior High School and went on to play “college ball” at The University of Georgia. Jean-Gilles is definitely doing his part giving back to his community. For him it is all about the kids. “Hangout Day” began with a 2 hour football/cheerleading camp for the kids (ages 8-16) and afterwards the rest of community came out to enjoy a free concert. It was basically as he termed it a “hangout day.” Everything was paid for by Jean-Gilles. It was mini-fair type atmosphere replete with food, bounce-houses, etc. Here is a brief commercial Jean-Gilles used to promote the event. Jean-Gilles is working with together with the “Stars of Tomorrow Foundation,” an organization that is committed to making a positive change in the lives of young people.
Jean-Gilles was also on with “The Sports Brothers” a local sportstalk radio show down in Miami, SportsTalk 790 The Ticket.
